Setting up a vacation message
The Squirrelmail application for webmail at NetCoop.nl allows you to set up automatic replies to messages arriving at your account. This feature is mostly used for letting people know that you will not be able to answer your mail for a certain period. Squirrelmail remembers who has already received a vacation message and will not send the vacation message again within a chosen number of days.
Follow these instructions to set up a vacation message for your account. Here's the brief version (detailed instructions below):
- login to your webmail
- chose 'filters'
- click 'add new rule'
- select 'All messages' and click 'Move on to step 2 >>'
- select 'Vacation message' and in the box 'Addresses: Only reply if sent to these addresses:' you type the address (or addresses, separated by commas) for which you want to enable this. Filling in the addresses is necessary!
- change the message to your wishes
- click 'move on' at the bottom of the page
- click 'Finished'
- finally, click 'Save Changes' and you're done.
Remove a vacation message

- select the filter rule(s) you want to remove and click 'Delete Selected'
